Underwater is a huge mystery to all researchers. We are having success at deep diving in the ocean for specific depths, but many parts of the ocean have not yet been fully explored. In this article, we are going to cover : Mariana Trench

What is Mariana Trench?

The Mariana Trench is known as Earth’s deepest place. It is located in the western North Pacific Ocean. The Mariana Trench has a mean width of 69 km to 70 km and a length of more than 2,550 km.

Why it is interesting?

Humans have never studied, explored, or even seen more than 80% of the ocean. The Mariana Trench is the oceanic region with the greatest depth. Only three persons have descended to the bottom and survived to return to the surface. There have been 12 trips to the moon’s surface. Four times as many people have visited the Mariana Trench on Earth as this.

Although it appears more difficult to go to the Moon, it is simpler to stay there and to orbit. The deep ocean is not depicted on any of the many extremely detailed maps of the Moon. So we can claim to be more familiar with the moon than the sea.
